Small Precious Things handmade jewelry is fashioned predominantly from individually selected semi-precious stones, and various silvers, golds, or copper. I also use other materials such as ribbons and silk, and a variety of unique beads.
I consider each piece-such as my figurative jewelry, or my yoga jewelry to be a small sculpture. They are all three-dimensional, unique, wearable pieces of art.
The Mica Jewelry Collection is made using mica which I personally mined. Each piece has been prepared and wrapped with delicate wire, strengthening it
and enhancing it's natural beauty.

MY STORY
After years of sculpting and working large in scale, I discovered jewelry making. It has allowed me to depart
from 'large and bulky' to 'small and precious.' Jewelry is the perfect media in which I can experiment with beautiful materials, texture, color, balance, and most importantly, movement.
